Screw-top growler from the brewery cooler.
First pour into an imperial pint glass yields a dense 1/2" tan head over the clear brown brew. Head slowly falls, with coating lasting lace. Aroma is deeply malty, with notes of nuts, coffee, and chocolate. Taste starts where the nose left off, then goes sweeter in the middle, and closes with a moderate bitterness. Mouthfeel is smooth and soft, with great drinkability. Certainly a sessional here.
