Had an 8 ounce pour to go from the brewery today for $6.50. Yes Savannah is OK with open containers! Drinking at 9.0 abv these days.
Beer was served orange with a huge root beer float like head.
Nose was pretty much just the base line malts with a hint of grapefruit.
Taste was a stronger version of the Swamp Fox, an imperial pale lager like brew. Not a whole lot of flavor outside a hint of grapefruit over the lager like base.
Mouthfeel was full and pretty smooth.
Overall a bit disappointing, not bad but not worth seeking out for the price.
