Savannah locals are used to living in the ominous "cone of uncertainty," the dreaded hurricane season limbo that offers a coin flip between imminent danger and an unusually gusty afternoon. The titular cone here is the cone, or flower, of the hop plant, and the uncertainty was the new-ish (to us) varietal plant called Idaho 7. We gobsmacked this trendy, characteristically hazy brew with ludicrous amounts of it in the whirl and dry hop additions. Very little bitterness, and bright notes of tropical fruit, pineapple, and citrus undergo intriguing transformations with the yeast still present in this brew.
Malts: Maris Otter, Malted Wheat, Oats
Hops: Warrior, Citra, Idaho 7

Had Cone of Uncertainty poured from 25.4-oz. bomber, label stamped bottled on "DEC 23 2019," into nonic pint.
Pours gold with clarity first pour then a bit hazy second pour, both times with a huge, sticky off-white head, leaving big chunky lace. Nicely floral and mild malt aromas. On drinking, mildly malty up front, then lightly fruity, with a crisp but not bitter finish, for an APA-like rather than NEIPA experience.
But you know, if lots of brewers keep just missing on authentic NEIPAs and turning out highly drinkable, slightly hazy pales like this one, I'm good.

This is a really good beer. Hazy look, smell is non distinct. Flavor is very solid with a citrus start and oak finish. I put this just a notch below trillium from up north.

Poured from the tap into a pint glass. The appearance is a hazy golden yellow color with a small white head. The aroma is citrus and hops. The taste matches the nose but is light on citrus and hops.
