This beer was supposedly inspired by recipe from a home brewer named Gene the bartender told me about.
Appearance: clear brown in color with a 1" head that lingers a while. Nice lacing paints the glass.
Smell: caramel and sweet malts are easy to detect and pull from the glass.
Taste: nice malty brown ale with some caramel, mild fruit sweetness, and a perfect balancing bitterness.
Moutfeel: smooth from start to finish. Medium bodied. Aftertaste is short as the flavors leave the tongue in seconds after swallowing.
Drinkability: this is a great tasting brown ale that was my favorite beer at Moon River on my two trips. Must give this a try if it is on tap.
