On tap at the brewery. Pours deep golden with white head. Aroma is of tropical fruit, citrusy hops and bready malt. Body is medium and slightly crisp. Taste is dominated by rosemary. Ok brew.

Pours like a typical IPA, golden, and pretty clear. Decent head. Not much of a Rosemary scent, or taste. Smells and tastes like a common IPA.

On-tap at Moon River Brewing Company, Savannah, GA

A: The beer is clear light yellow in color and has a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with patches of bubbles on the surface and a thin ring of bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: There are moderately strong aromas of rosemary in the nose.
T: Like the smell, the taste is dominated by flavors of rosemary.
M: It feels medium-bodied and relatively crisp on the palate with a light to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is a very interesting beer. The amount of rosemary in the smell and taste is something you would expect from a gruit beer but it’s an interesting take on the IPA style.

I tried this on tap in a pint glass right before a haunted pub crawl. The appearance of the beer is nice. It's a nice dark honey amber color with a sandy blond head. The lacing on the side of the glass is average for an IPA.

The smell was a bit of a disappointment, as I expected to pick up the notes of rosemary. Instead, I got the hops citrus and earthy aromas common to other IPA's. The taste was delicate and well balanced, but yet again, I couldn't detect the rosemary in the beer. None. Zip. Zilch. Nada.

The mouthfeel was fine. It's well carbonated and tastes fine right down to the last drop. Overall, I just wish they'd added more rosemary to the beer. Rosemary is such an assertive herb that you'd figure you'd pick it up right away. I wish this was the case, but I felt underwhelmed by this batch of beer.

Had a glass on tap at the Moon River Brewing.

The golden brew has very little head. The flavor is complex; the hops hit first, followed by IPA sweetness, closing with the herbal woodiness and ginger-like flavors of rosemary.

Overall, a very good beer!

On-tap on 8/17. Poured into a Mug. Really excited to try this one, been busting John's balls for a while ;)

Poured a hazy orange with a fluffy white head that slowly recedes to a thick cap, leaving lots of sticky lacing behind. Really pretty beer. HUGE rosemary aromas dominate the nose, there's no mistaking what the main draw of this beer is. Other aromas include fresh grapefruit and pine resin hops, but MAN that rosemary! Taste truly follows the nose with more resinous, sticky rosemary, a bit of pungent hops, and some sweet caramel malt. Mouthfeel is smooth and slightly creamy, with a medium body and good carbonation. Overall a very unique beer, one that I'm incredibly happy to finally be able to try. It was definitely worth the wait!

on tap at Moon River.
Cloudy gold with rosemary popping. A little bit of floral and citrus as well. Rosemary dominates in a not unpleasant way. Very little malt sweetness evident, some bitterness and a bit of floral and citrus background. I don't think I could have more than a half pint but it was pretty tasty for what it was.

Had this one on-tap at the Moon River brewpub in Savannah. Pours a cloudy golden color with a decent size white head and good lacing. I never thought a mere spice could overpower hoppy goodness but this was the case with the rosemary.

The smell and taste both featured rosemary. This was pleasant and not off-putting but by far and away the most prominent feature of the beer. The taste finished up with hoppy bitterness/goodness and the overall flavor was softer and less harsh than most IPAs.

Mouthfeel was good, rich and crisp like any good IPA. Drinkability was very good. This is a solid IPA with a bit of a spicy gimmick.

On-tap at the Brick Store. I'm under the impression that this is the Swamp Fox IPA "dry-herbed" with rosemary.

Pours a slightly hazy light copper color with a one-finger slightly off-white head. The head recedes into a thin layer on top leaving solid lacing.

Smells of large amounts of rosemary with leafy hop aromas and a hint of pale malts.

Tastes very similar to how it smells. Pale malt flavors up front are joined almost immediately by leafy and earthy hop flavors and huge rosemary flavors. The rosemary is by far the biggest flavor however it manages to not be overpowering. The ending is solidly bitter and a nice herbal aftertastes lingers on the palate.

Mouthfeel is good. It's got a nice thickness with moderate carbonation.

Drinkability is very good. I finished my glass quickly and could certainly have a few more.

Overall I was a big fan of this beer. I like rosemary in general so I'm sure that contributed a bit however don't think this is a one-dimensional beer. Well worth a shot.
