Probably the best beer I had from them on this day, a very decent strong Belgian ale. Beer on draft at the brewpub, served in a plastic pint glass.
Beer is yellow and clear, dark yellow, with a nice white head, moderate and steady carbonation, nice head retention, small and medium bubbles, some lacing, looks good.
Aroma is bready and sweet with a few esters in there, interesting and enticing aroma for sure.
Beer is light to medium in body, sweet and nicely carbonated up front with a good finish, not too dry with mild graininess on the end. Although the graininess is present it is not distracting and almost makes sense with this beer. Out of all of their beers, this is the most likely repeat for me. Well done.

A - poured with half a finger of white foam on a clear, golden body. The head fades quickly but leaves good lace.
S - light banana with some clove and pilsner malt richness in the background.
T - grainy malt up front that transitions into a yeasty character in the middle. clove and some banana with bready malt and moderate bitterness in the finish.
M - medium thick body, moderate carbonation, and a somewhat dry finish.
D - not bad, a bit phenolic for my taste, but a very flavorful example of the style.

Glad to be one of the first to try this beer, I believe it was fresh out of the tanks the day I tried it. Poured into a Moon River Mug.
Poured a brilliant clear gold with a creamy white head that settles to a slight haze and ring, leaving some spotty lacing as it recedes. Nice aromas of bready malt, bubblegum, clove, and a touch of banana. Tastes follows the nose closely, the Belgian influence is subtle but very nice. Mouth-feel is slightly creamy, with a medium-thin body and crisp carbonation. Nice and sessionable on a hot Savannah day, I'll look for this next time!
