sampled on cask as part of the volo cask days 2006. thanks to ralph and all involved for putting together an awesome fest.
pours a pale red colour with a light head
aroma is nice. hops with a good malt backbone. nice citrusy cascade hop presence.
taste is good. bready malt with a light citrus from the hops. ok bitterness level.
mouthfeel is good. decent body and nice carbonation level.
drinkability is good. nice balance.

I am sure they will try this again. Hopped up version of their brown ale at Volo Cask Day 2006. Hoppy aroma, nice head, and nutty brown moplasses from fresh batch secondary. Satisfying natural carbonation finish. More enjoyable changeup than competing in the IPA offerings.
