Pours a deep chocolate brown colour with a finger of tan head. Smells of chocolate malt, but I really don't notice any banana. I'm straining and still not getting banana. Either banana isn't there, it is really faint, or I just suck at picking up flavours (this was my first beer of the night). Very malty and sweet flavour. A nice brown ale on cask.

Caskdays at Great Lakes Brewery. The brewer calls this a working man's dunkel. Its all malts and yeast, including chocolate malts. A good brown, very maty and complex in that regard. medium mouthfeel and tasty for what it is, good to break from bitter beers. Malty aroma, brownish colour, lacey, with white head.
