Had this on tap at Gigs in London. Pours jet black with creamy white head. Tastes quite hoppy and bitter with a nice roasty finish. Good mouthfeel overall and I enjoyed the hop bite. Not to many good black ipas out there, but this was a nice treat. Good stuff.

Excellent black IPA, enjoyed on tap at Get Well. Black coloured body with small white head, yielding thick lace. Hoppy aroma, with some roast. A really good IPA by itself, with the roasted malt secondary I enjoyed so much more than the other way around.Smooth big mouthfeel. Very drinkable.Satisfying. Sammy Four.

Had on tap at Session 99 festival.

Not sure how to classify this one- Belgian Black IPA. Call it a Black IPA, call it a Belgian IPA, Belgian Dark... hard to say.

Beer is black with a thin tan head. Gone quickly.

Smell is nice. Dark fruit, grape, blackcurrant. Vinous. Some citrus but hard to pick up fruits beneath the malt.

Blackcurrant and grape in the taste. Not as strong as the smell was. Bittering hops, a bit grassy but not a huge flavour aside from the bitterness.

Medium bodied, moderate carbonation.

Overall, ok. Nice smell but a bit disappointed in flavour. Not bad, would try it again.
