Special offer in Waitrose, £3.75 for 4 cans. Actually not bad attempt at citrus craft lager from Tetleys.
Well worth the price and pleasantly surprised.
Orange and grapefruit infused.

#1828 - Blind-tasted except for the beer's name and brewery/country...
L- Tetley, all cloth caps and ee-bah-gum eh? Well this is an altogether more contemporary offering. Pours mid 'lager' gold, clear with a thin 1mm white head.
S- Some bready note with a brighter aspect riding above; overall mild though.
T- Quite dry - [swallow] - was that just a jolt of citrus hops? Yes it has a citrus-hop aspect but it's mild after a glug or two.
F- It has quite deep/dry malts, citrus facets... it's refreshing though rather cleanly modern and formulaic.
O- Take Carlsberg lager in the green cans and beat it with the hipster wand. Out goes the rounded malty feel, in comes a citrus aspect. A bit 'factory' for me, lager + hipster citrus notes. Lacks detail or charm. I've no reason to buy this again.
Review/scoring all done, now the reveal, I get to read the lables to see what I missed! - 'Lager brewed the ale way' - whatever that means.
660ml bottle BB: 03/03/2022 printed on the glass at the neck. Bought from Waitrose London £2.00
