2 Nov 2012 @ home: 500ml bottle best before 30 Jan 2013, poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard.

Like the cask version this is black and has a full creamy head of foam which stayed the distance. It is also as flavoursome as the cask beers I had back in Feb 2012.

Coffee, liquorice and dark chocolate from the roasted/semi-burnt malts again being in the nose and taste. The body is as rich and full also.

A very easy drinking Porter and a good example of the style.
