A 500ml bottle with a BB of June 2014, so literally just out of date. Purchased a while back from a supermarket.
Poured into a tulip pint glass. A hazy golden-amber hue with some fine sediment and good carbonation. Produces a copious head of creamy white foam that lasts for a few minutes before reducing to a patchy surface layer. Nice lacing. Aroma of grainy malt with hints of grass/hay, mild floral hops, a twinge of spice, fruity ale yeast and stewed leaves. Pretty good.
Tastes of light malt with a mild hoppy character and a dry finish. Notes of grain, grass/hay, floral hops, subtle spice, fruity ale yeast, a touch of earthiness and stewed leaves. Well-attenuated, followed by a mild, leafy bitterness upon swallowing. Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with pleasant carbonation and decent body. Slightly astringent, accompanied by an aftertaste of bitter floral hops, grainy malt and earthy yeast notes.
Not bad - a balanced golden ale. Looks good, while the aroma and flavour are pleasantly hoppy and grainy. Floral hints and spice tickle the tastebuds. Satisfying body. Given the brewer I was expecting to be underwhelmed by this; in reality it's a well-crafted brew. Goes down a treat - worth sampling if you come across it.

Tall 500ml brown bottle: BBD 17 May 2014, poured into a UK pint sleeve on 27 Aug 2013.
As it's name might suggest the beer has a golden hue to it's body, bright and clear in the glass, on top a full and fairly deep white crown.
Mildly citrus in the nose and taste, a good enough blend of other hop and malt flavours join together nicely to give a well balanced, if slightly bland brew.
Not enough of anything to test your taste buds, but not bad in any way either, just another British golden bitter without much flavour.
