Beer pours a bright orange color, into an 8 oz brandy snifter. Head is small but firm.
Aromas are of sweet malts, dark fruits, and a touch of booze.
Tastes is surprisingly subtle. I listed this as an American BW, but it tastes like a British version of the style. Very smooth and silky mouthfeel. There are nutty flavors, subtle booze soaked fruit notes, and a very distinct overall malty creaminess.
Drinkability is quite good. Lacks a bit in the flavor department, it's still tasty, but where this beer wins is with it's drinkability. Very smooth, easy and enjoyable to sip.
