Cask at The Esplanade Hotel, Rothesay, Scotland
A: The beer is slightly hazy reddish amber in color and has no visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that died down, leaving a short head covering the surface and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of caramel and toffee malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, having milt flavors of toffee malts.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a low to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink and can be considered sessionable. I could easily knock back a few of these.
