Tasted by half-pint at my local JDW pub, the Half Moon, East End London. From the pump clip this is also a beer brewed to celebrate England football team's participation in the World Cup 2006, although it is still available way after England's "premature departure" from Germany...
A: semi-hazy amber colour with dark-orange hints; an off-white beer head retreats fast while the carbonation is low.
S: lightly orangey hops backed by a sulphury note along with salty-sweet and wild floral aroma like rubbed flower petals. Quite simplistic and restrained.
T: semi-rich citric/orangey hops dominate the palate, underlined by a secondary layer of juicy pale malts; soon a firm stream of bitter-spicy and leafy bitterness as well as juicy citrus fruitiness surrounds the whole tongue, with its tangy, citric bitter edge creeping down to the very end of the palate, as if dry-hopped.
M&D: medium-bodied and very hoppy-bitter ale, its texture is quite smooth and overall flavour is balanced and enjoyable, added credits by its non-stoppingly bitter aftertaste. Actually this is one of the better and tasty "World Cup beers" I've tasted so far.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
