(from notes at brewery) Aroma was surprisingly grapefruity for a stout with only hints of the roasted/chocolate characters that I would expect to play a more prominent role. Mouthfeel was a little to light, lighter so than their porter and seemed to be generally lacking. Flavors were of hops more than they were about the malt and kind of put me off. A totally drinkable and an enjoyable beer, but since I am rating against the style, it gets penalized.
