Poured into a water glass: color is straw gold, slight chill haze, head is off white and presents 1/4 inch thick, head dissipates to thin top.

Smell is light, with subtle grape and lemon hop character, some herbal qualities.

Taste is more malt forward with biscuit, cracker notes before the hop character and subtle grape notes that finish it out; herbal and light spicy hop notes with warmth.

Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, lower bitterness but a crisp carbonic finish.

Overall a pleasant spin on a basic euro style lager - lemony and herbal hop notes, subtle grape/white wine character, and light malt.

Nov. 2013: 330 ml bottle, from Coop Mega, Sola. ABV is 4.7%. Clear pale golden colour, large white head. Nice aroma of crushed white grapes and gooseberries, also mild spices and fresh grass. Light bodied. Fresh and crisp pilsener flavour, moderate floral, fruity and herbal hops. Quite enjoyable.

Very light, very dry, very crisp. Was a nice drink after a long walk on a hit day. Feels and smells grapey, almost like champagne. Smells of citrus fruit and grapes. Lots of carbonation. Maybe not so good as a beer for beer lovers, but definitely different from your ordinary brew and worth to try. I liked it. Would be a nice summer drink.

L- Pale as a rich coloured white sparkling wine. Carbonation clears pretty quickly, but is solid on the tongue.
S- Rich and fruity, hints of apple.
T- Well yes it is curious, to me! Like you've mixed 40% lager, 40% cider and 20% sparkling wine.
M- Good carbonation on the tongue, but quite acidic/sharp, at one point I involuntarily shuddered.
O- I don't understand what it's trying to do, it seems like neither one drink or another. I shan't be buying this again.
The front lable says it's 're-fermnted with chanpagne yeast; unusual! BB: 21/06/19. Bought from Waitrose London.

Bottle. Clear straw. Ever decreasing head.
Strong aroma of noble hops with a bit of light caramel. Some citrus.
Sweet cereal favour. Hint of lemon.
Lightly carbonated. Medium body.
Decent enough for an EPL.

Clear gold, small head

Slightly aromatic and a small whiff of nelson hops

light taste of malt, some bready character , some fruity/winey hops. It's dominated by the zingy carbonation though when you swallow. Med dry finish, little bitterness to counteract the equally low sweetness.

A decent take on inoffensive lagers

From a 33cl bottle.
L: Clear, yellow/gold. Very little carbonation visible. One finger of white head recedes quickly to a smear.
S: Rich and sweet with a little grain. Nothing unpleasant.
T: Smooth, herbal, crisp. Maybe just a hint of lemon juice. Not getting much from the advertised Cascade and Nelson Sauvin hops though.
F: Medium body with light carbonation.
O: Not as good as a decent German/Czech pilsener or a kolsch, or other British craft lagers (tasted side-by-side with Schiehallion craft lager from Harviestoun, for example, Curious Brew is a distant second), but a step up from the massed ranks of generic, big brewery, lagers.

I was at a party and the host offered me the Curious IPA, but handed me the lager. Thus, I was a little disappointed. However, it is a pretty good lager. Crisp.
