500ml bottle, lable is dark and pale green, featuring a simple graphic of a jockey galloping a horse. The horse's tail stylised as an ear of barley. Note: It is bottle conditioned, handle with care vs your tolerance for sediment in the pour.
L- Mid to darker amber, cleat, pours with 3mm just off-white head, holds very well.
S- A slight perfumed note to it, otherwise mild.
T- This reminds me of what an IPA was like in the UK during my youth, say in the 80s. Kinda like a bitter, but brighter and hoppier. Ie no US influences with weird fruit/floral notes.
F- Decent hop levels, so a good refreshing beer during warmer months.
O- Pleasant enough if you want something more trad English of a well-hopped style. I'd happily drink this again in summer.
Bought from M+S London this afternoon 500ml bottle £2.50 BB: Dec-2021
