Light amber color, clear crisp taste a bit unique from other Hefewizen Ale I've enjoyed. I liked it and will buy it again

Serengeti Wheat pours a hazy amber color, with a medium-sized and massively lacing head. The aroma is earthy and grainy. The flavor is a little light, mildly sweet, earthy, and has a hint of wheat. Light later feel. Overall, it's a very wheat ale, light, and a bit more earthy.

This is certainly tastes like a Pale Wheat beer. It pours, however, a rich amber color with adequate foam in the chalice. There is no hint of the German spicy yeast and it's a clean grainy taste. I suppose it would be a nice change from the endless hoppy lagers and worse, but it's a distinctly cereal and malt tasting brew. Some tangy stuff in the finish but not really any bitterness. This is a good example of the style, in any case, and goes down easy. From the 12 oz can purchased at the Skagit Valley Coop. Dated 03/06/25.

Maybe this is better on draft, but in a can it is terrible. It doesn't taste anything like a hefeweizen. It is closer to a standard lager if anything. I would recommend something else.

FYI you can only get this on tap, they dont bottle it.
Definitely one of the best hefs ive ever had. A great hazy yellow color, nice and lemony smell/taste with lots of citrus.

This is a great wheat beer. The only reason I don't drink it more is because it's only available in Seattle and most places only have the African Amber. I still like the African Amber more, but this is a great wheat beer.
