On tap at Elk Public House, served in a pint glass.

Pours a copper/gold color and is clear. A tight bubbly foamy off-white head is present, and fairly resilient.

Smell smell is faint and has a spice aroma. Cloves and pie spices mostly.

The taste is acerbic and bitter. There is a bit of a wheat bread flavor up front with a metallic finish.

Mouth feel is good. Crisp and clean. Smooth buttery feeling body.

Drinkable for an American hefe. Not great, but I wouldn't turn it down.

Hazy gold color when cold which let up a little as it warmed with some nice nutty aromas. Good bitternes with some butterscotch undertones. Citrus flavors very present but beer was well balanced. A lot going on here. Very drinkable
