Long live this creamy 'n' thick, deep tan head. Truly dark without even any sunlight getting through the glass. Modest, deeply roasted grain, with a touch of smoked caramel, in the background, for the aroma. A little bit of an extra roast given to the dark malt here, for a somewhat bold but not sharp, roasted flavor, a bit of creaminess and an almost smoky tinge, to round out the taste. Slightly heavier than medium mouthfeel, and has a long lasting, pretty smooth, dark roasted grain finish.

Growler fill at the source in Redmond. Nice price, enjoyable beer. Not one of the brilliant American stouts but pretty solid. Pretty strong if you like that. Best find I've had in the area for a long time. The neighbor down the street has gone full-IPA so won't be back there. Will be back for more!

Taste: some interesting stuff in there, pretty good balance, no vanilla/coffee/barrel/coconut junk
