A: Poured a cloudy deep yellowish color with a great head, nice white bubbles and great head retention.
S: The nose is all tropical fruits and light citrus, almost no pepper on the nose whatsoever, very deceiving
T: Initial tropical fruit punch with a little breadiness for backing. The pepper slowly creeps in providing a nice subtle dose of light pepper, just a dash, to remind you of its calling. The pepper picks up a tad on the finish, leaving some subtle heat which melds well with the hop backing but remains light and controlled creating a pleasant drink.
M: Medium bodied, a finely done cask beer!
O: Not a fan of IPAs on cask, at all, nada. This changes my tune about this style on cask and gives me a glimmer of hope that not all is lost at Mac and Jacks!
