Served in straight pint glass. Poured a cloudy yellow (very much looked like a Hefe) with over an inch of white head that had good retention and lacing.
The aroma had a benign grain scent, some gentle hopping and a faint bit of yeast. The flavors were pretty similar to the scent profile, a nice grain base, some balancing hops and a hint of yeast.
The body was fuller than typical for the style, but not at all heavy, and went across the tongue smoothly and easily. Drinkability was very good, you could easily have several of these over the course of an afternoon or evening. Overall, a nice brew that's a bit different from the majority of the style. Worth trying when you see it.

pretty hazy yellow, small white head. smell has a sweet wheat-like citrusy nose. taste follows the same path as the smell, wheat, citrus, buttery sourdough. pilsener hops. as kolschs go i enjoy this one a lot. it's well balanced, and has a nice dry tone.
