Note: I am in the process of moving all of my ratings from other beer sites to here, so that all of my ratings are consolidated in one place. The review below is an exact copy of my original RateBeer review from 02/07/2018.
1 pt. 9 fl. oz. bottle.
AROMA: Scents of chocolate, caramel, and brown sugar.
APPEARANCE: Pours an opaque black with a medium tan head that dissipates slowly.
TASTE: Very sweet with flavors of sweet malt and milk chocolate.
PALATE: Full-bodied with a sticky texture and average carbonation. Finish has just a hint of vanilla on the tail end.
OVERALL: Nice flavor, but it definitely is on the sweet side. Almost too sweet. This is definitely a one-and-done beer. Meaning, you will happily drink the first one, but due to its sticky sweetness you will pass on having a second one anytime soon. Enjoy it one at a time and you will be happy.
