On tap at the brewery.
[Disclaimer: generally not a fan of oak-aged beers.]
Slightly hazy amber with a semi-durable head that leaves a full coating on the glass with each sip.
Aroma. Oak and mainly fruity hops.
Flavor. There's a load of oak here, even with the substantial hop load. I would guess that it is aged in new oak barrels but there is a hint of whisky nonetheless.
Feel: Smooth up front with a crisp, dry finish.
O: Interesting and woody, but not as enjoyable [see disclaimer above] as the regular Hoplanta IPA consumed immediately before.
