Served on tap at the Red Brick brewery on Release Day.
This is a very fruity IPA [No New Friends] with added fruit. The regular No New Friends is excellent and would be hard to improve upon. This variant is not an improvement except, perhaps, in appearance, with the added fruits turning the body to the color of watery guava nectar. Very mild bitterness for style. Well hidden alcohol. High complexity, but less than No New Friends owing, at least in part, to relatively strong guava flavoring. No malt flavors detectable.
Medium body with medium-light carbonation.
