10 oz pour at the brewery taproom.
Black body with a short, and short-lived, tan head.
Bourbon and dried fruits are the dominant aspects of the aroma but the flavor is a more balanced combination of wood, bourbon and dark roasted grains. Lightly smokey with hints of chocolate and dark dried fruits.
Smooth, full body with light carbonation and well hidden alcohol (10.8%).
Overall: dangerously drinkable; improved a little with warming
