On tap at the brewery taproom. Paired with a Hype Whale Reserve.
Black body with a short, and short-lived, tan head.
Enticing aroma.
Flavor: complex: there's a lot going on here. Vanilla, milk chocolate, dark dried fruits, dark roasted grains, faint spicy hops, a touch of smoke, and coffee are all present. Lightly sweet.
Smooth, full body with light carbonation and well hidden alcohol (10%).
Overall: delicious and dangerously drinkable: very slightly preferred over the reserve.
