A pint on tap at the brewery taproom. This is a porter brewed with cacao.
The reddish brown body is clear but nearly opaque in the glass. It's topped with a decent tan head.
Medium body and medium-light carbonation.
Moderate chocolate notes for style and faint smoke, although the smoke builds over time and lingering in the aftertaste.
Overall: a nice, albeit rather smoky porter with no significant flaws.
