From Vietnam...also trying the export which is in a green bottle.
Cool bottle design. I love the dragon, the font and the bottle shape also. Looks like a fairly typical lager or pilsner, but extra marks for the bottle design. Mega fresh aromas of sweet malt and mega refreshing grassy hops.
Taste is different from a European pilsner. Hops is super sophisticated. Full and quite creamy mouthfeel. It has a unique, amazing grassiness that kind of reminds me of the taste of lemongrass or the fresh herbs from Thai or Viatnamese cuisine.
Perhaps I really like this because it is such a refreshing change from my usual German, Czech, Polish, Romanian and Italian pilsners. Now for the export!

Pours a standard lager gold, clear and mildly effervescent with a bubbly white head. Some floral notes on the nose, with tropical fruit, mango and banana; sweet and neutral on the tongue. Pleasant and drinkable - if the stated ingredient of rice has an effect, it isn't a negative one.

Copenhagen 12/11 2018. 33 cl can brought home from Vietnam by my in-laws. Green can with a roaring dragon hidden in the background. Assurance that the beer is brewed with “Natural Ingredients”. I wonder what the alternative would be?
Pours clear yellow with small white head. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No Lacing.
Aroma is unpleasantly sharp and sour. Sweet malts lurking in the background. Strong element of stuffy refrigerator with something going bad in a slow but unavoidable manner.
Strong carbonation. Thin, watery and very prickly texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by slightly stronger, sharp bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter yet pretty thin.
On the positive side: This beer has some bitterness. On the negative side: it’s still pretty unpleasant.

I'm no beer connoisseur, but I find myself reaching for this again and again for an easy wingman to my pizza

October 2018: Shared 330 ml bottle at local tasting. Pale golden colour, white head. Grainy and malty aroma, okay. Grainy and sweetish flavour, dull finish. Not good.

Some might think I’m overrating this beer but I think it was okay. I would definitely mot call it outstanding but it was at least better than its counterparts. Looked a tiny bit nicer, smelled a bit less skunked and more like bread and there were some hops in there that had some kind of taste (not saying it was good though, just thought I’d mention it for the record…)
… and oh, I don’t mean that I liked it but at least it was slightly better than the average, I can honestly say that it earned its class, it is an “okay” beer.
