This beer has a great, shiny light gold with snow falling, with the seven traditional Japanese gods as the centerpiece. It looks entirely like the limited edition brew it is.
It's actually very good though, which I've come to expect from Suntory beers. They're quite often a little bit better than the other 3 macro Japanese brews.
This one doesn't express itself in the smell or appearance too much, but the taste is a strong, robust malty one. It has a strong carbonated mouthfeel rounded out by mellow and flavorful malts. The malts seem to be particularly yummy and expressive and the carbonation to be quite well structured. There also some roasted tastes inserted. It's heavy, a little syrupy. On par with other Suntory beverages, not much hops involved.
A nice seasonal brew.
