Some of my reviews have been very general, rating the beer as compared to all beers, not with its style in mind. in this case, it is totally graded as a happoshu.
looks clear light yellow, very fizzy, nice long head. looks like a happoshu
smells like beer! wow - unlike others of this style - there is a smell, and it is not repulsive. a little sweet maybe, but inviting.
tastes like .... coors light? i dont know. its been years since ive had a silver bullet, and i cant get one here to compare, but it reminds me of some old beer i once had. light but refreshing, decent, crisp. not bad
oh my god, this might be the best happoshu. and to think i put off trying it for so long because it looks exactly like Draft One. i just assumed it was suntory's response to sapporo's new liqueur (its technically not beer in japan) not bad.

Shockingly clear, slightly green, pure white head. Kinda pretty.
Nice refreshing lager aroma.
Slightly sweet, light maltyness. Very, very small bitterness. This actually tastes great for an ultra-light beer.
Slightly big on the carbonation, but for the style, great.
I know saying a happoshu is exceptional is odd, but for the style this is an amazing beer! Next time, I have a bbq, beach party, or a hot day, this is it. Clean, tasty, balanced!
