Suntory continues to impress me by consistently producing the best beer of any of Japan's major breweries.
Pours a nice golden yellow with a medium-sized fizzy off-white head. Slightly yellowed. It dissipates very quickly, leaving almost no head whatsoever.
Sweet malty aroma, grassy and with a touch of herbal hops.
Very mild at first; sweet and malty, completely inoffensive. As it rolls back in my mouth, there's a light hop bitterness near the end, and little aftertaste. Nothing special, but still tasty.
Quite active -- it feels a bit too fizzy on the palate. Settles down a bit after I let it sit.
Overall, not bad. Not great, but I didn't expect great. It's not as good as the Bonne Biere, which it seems to have replaced in local convenience stores. Still, better than most of what Kirin and Asahi have on offer.

From the can:
"Natural water of Japan
Quality malts of Canada & French Barley
Aroma hops of Saaz and Hallertau"
The can also notes that the hops are from the Czech republic and Germany.
Ingredients: malts, hops.
Yellow body with fluffy white head and sticky lacing.
Overly sweet malty aroma
Slightly sweet large obtuse maltyness, with little perceptable hops.
Light carbonation with medium body.
