Ingredients: Malt, hops.
Label adds to the nearly flatulatory title, "Natural water of Japan; Aroma hop of Hallertau. Hallertau hops seem to be enjoying some sort of renaissance here in Japan. Maybe it was the World Cup. Mentions on the can that it was brewed for the 50th Anniversary of the Tokyu Store chain.
Nose is lacking the proclaimed hop aroma, unfortunately, and is instead neutral, with only a bit of malt sweetness. Big strain of malt sweetness permeates the otherwise thin body. Traces of hop character in the mouth and a mild bitterness in the aftertaste. Av-er-age.
