This is the second japanese kölsch that I had (in a consecutive 2 days) and this one today felt a bit better than yesterday’s Ginga Kogen. This one had more of that apple-like fruitiness like the real kölsches do, that little extra these beers have and what make them different from the others. I terestingly, this one had a Belgian-style yeastiness in the aroma right after opening that slowly evolved into the apple. I felt it a bit more crisp and carbonated than the real German kölsches, but nevertheless it was still quite okay. I’d rather drink these for a light beer than Coors Lite...
