Has this been around for long? No idea. Have I seen it before? Not sure. Even id I have, not sure I cared. It’s the kind of stuff that doesn’t really makes a difference. The only reason why I picked it up this time is because it was the only kind on the shelf I haven’t had before. And I think I can safely say it was the best one for the money, being a cheapo happoshu. Was nothing special but not bad either. It smelled like a decent lager, that’s where my surprise began. It didn’t taste like crap either, that’s how it went on. It has enough body, not too much carbonation and did not make me sick. I think for a cheap happoshu this is enough. And to top it off, it didn’t even turn into a hot mess, had no bad aftertaste either.
All in all, it was olay to wash off dinner with at Hirai bentos, not much truckers around this time, spring in the air, early February night.
