Some saved by Brewery for the Fort York Brew Fest. British style porter. Not too drinkable, but change of pace. Mildly carbonated. Nice dark appearance and coffee roasty licorice aroma. Complex tastes of citrus and chocolate from malt, and sourness from the Irish hops.

Appearance: a big black pour with quite an impressive foamy, tan head. looks wonderfully decadent.
Smell: not what i was expecting, this brew's nose was both woody and sour. i wouldn't say that the sourness was unappealing but it was definitely a suprise.
Taste/Mouthfeel: big creamy mouthfeel suited the look of this beer. right off the bat i noticed that along with the woody notes there was an obvious wallop of smokiness to it. the sour ness in the nose was not as apparent in the body but hints of it were still traceable. the finish was slightly bitte, sour and dry.
Drinkability: not what i had in mind when i think "porter" although this does do a great job in recreating an "original" style porter. the unique taste and contrast to conventional porters make me wonder how drinkable people would consider this one to be.
