According the brewer (Perry Mason), this is "a stupidly bitter, un-subtle ale", weighing in at 94 IBU.
A: Amber-brown, light tan head, only a little retention, but some good lace.
S: This doesn't smell like beer. It smells like pure hop juice. Awesome/unbelievable. Pine, citrus & a little cattyness as well.
T: Overpowering grapefruit & pine. There's probably some malt in the backbone, but the flavour is all hops (a little one dimensional). Bitterness is assertive, but I didn't find it too harsh.
M: Moderate body is acidic & dry. Really well-attenuated.
D: This stuff will peel your tastebuds away!
With a little more malt, this could be a stellar DIPA.
