Special cask at Bar Towel Golden Tap Awards. Perry Mason sez "This was brewed using 75% Bamberg smoked malt in the mash, as well as chocolate malt, black malt and a bit of roast barley."
Pours a dark brown, red highlights, no head, no lace, almost flat. Smell is very smokey, beef jerky, caramel, dark fruits, roast, some spice, bit of floral, neat. Taste is green hops, caramel malt and smoke, roast, weird acrid bitterness in the finish. Mouthfeel is light bodied with low carbonation. Little bit green, but the smoke was done tastefully.
