A german IPA? Hmm. Worth a try.
This beer pours a cloudy gold with an amber hue and thin head into my glass. Good colors for the style (better than it's ever been).
There's a touch of light, grassy bitterness from the hops on the nose.
Ditto for the flavors. Bitter for sure! Just a pinch of buttery malt. I like the renewed focus on hops.
Lingering bitterness that grabs you by the tongue. This is bitter city, folks so brace yourselves!
A worthy choice among the beers on tap. They're certainly improving!
