Think chocolate thunder porter but with belgian yeast, 4lbs of cocoa and aged on 1lb of cocoa nibs.
The color is a dark, dark black with a thin brown head in my glass. Stout colors, right? LOL.
Spicy cocoa with a bit of cream in the nose. A bit of coffee too. Aroma is better than I expected.
The cocoa nibs show through very well in this beer, imparting a sweetness that compliments the creamy, roasted textures.
Mouthfeel has lingering creamy cocoa texture that still manages to impress me.
Wow. I like this and I want more!!! As for the style, there's no belgian stout category so it's under this category instead.
