I like to think of English brown ales as good beers to drink when you have other things to think about. In this sense, Oregon Trader has been very successful in crafting a beer suited to the style. Their Nutty Brown is a low carbonation brew of clear deep chestnut / mahogany color. It has a light yeasty / grainy aroma and taste and pays little heed to head or lace.
This is the kind of beer that says, Shut up and have a beer. It is clean, understated, and is drinkable testimony to the virtues of simplicity.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
