Brought home from the brewpub in a nifty half-gallon jug.
Very attractive mahogany brown beer with large light tan head.
the aroma is mostly of lightly toasted malts, very fresh too.
Very nice creamy,toffeeish malty taste, slight touch of smoke and hop bitterness near the end.
Very nice on the palte, very smooth.
Another well made beer from Oregon Trader..I liked this one a lot, it was very similar to Scottish ales drank in Scotland.

Beautiful, polished mahogany color with a tangy mouthfeel, HighlanderÂ’s smell hints faintly of yeast and amber malts. The taste is mild mannered with a casual yeast presence accented by a light bitter finish.

Despite minimal head and lace, this beer is quite visually appealing. Offered year round.
