July 24th, 2015 - The theme across these Peter B tasters seems to be thickness and strength. The Golden Ale, calm on its head and a deep, syrupy body, has a heavy fruit note on the nose, rich with white grapes and sweetened pear juice. The flavor is somewhat nicer though, dialing back the sweetness and keeping some of that stickiness at bay. There are also quick bursts of intense white grape flavor and herbal touches (anise and licorice) but these quickly dissolve. It's the nicest Peter B beer so far.

A: Golden filtered color with a thick foamy head with lots of lacing down the glass.
S: Aromas that were kind of soft like a flower and sweet sugar.
T: Very weird taste and nothing like the smell. On the first sip it tasted like pizza and this coming before we got our food out and no pizza around. The second sip tasted like cough medicine and thankfully there was no strong after taste present.
M/D: Light and smooth feel on the mouth, drinkable but not something I will ever get again.
