Blackish with bloody highlights, a finger’s worth of tan head, fair retention, good lacing though. Disappointing nose, some coffee notes, maybe a kiss of malt. Smooth carbonation, small palate, some toasty malt, little hops influence for support or complexity. Light mouthfeel for the style. Drinkable. A good beer.
