Copenhagen 25/8 2018. 65 cl bottle (1 pt, 6 oz) from Vinbørsen, Nordre Frihavnsgade, Kbh Ø. As "Moylan's Northern California IPA". Green version of Moylans usual design with the very artistic "M".
Pours hazy orange with big white head. Settles as fat, frothy layer of foam covering tehe surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Massive lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet fermented odor of tTropical fruits mingling with zesty sharp Citrus fruit. Fruity and fermented. Sweet fruit. Light decay. Perfumed. Slightly stronger citric notes of Grapefruit.
Light carbonation. Soft, almost flat, creamy texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a rather strong sweetness. Followed by an even stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with solid hints of fermented fruits. Lingering. Finish is dry.
Quite a lot of flavor for a middle weight IPA (counting the ABV). Good one.

650 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.5%. Slightly hazy deep golden colour, moderate white head. Typical American IPA aroma of orange marmalade and piney hops. Medium sweet flavour, notes of orange marmalade and malts immediately followed by distinct notes of fruity and resinous American hops. The bitterness seems just right. A well made IPA. Will happily drink again.

The beer pours out a crystal clear golden color, with a thin white head-------------- the aromas are of dank weed, pine and sweet malt---------------- the flavors are of dank weed, pine, light Carmel and berries, the beer has a thin mouthfeel with a very bitter finish------------------ overall this beer was very good - I was suprized with this one, i haven't been impressed with a lot of stuff out of moylans but this one was a tasty west coast ipa, it had a lot of bitter pine and dank weed while still maintaining its drinkableity------

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium coppery amber with a nice two finger off-white head with good retention and thick lacing. Aroma of lightly caramel malt, citrus and piney hops with a little dankness. Flavor is biscuit and caramel malt, citrus and piney hops, lightly dank, some light mixed fruit notes appearing just before a resinous piney, grassy and citrus hop finish with lingering alpha oils. Medium bodied with light creaminess. A nice hoppy IPA with a full malt body. The malt is a little more biscuity and the hops a little more grassy than usual for a West Coast IPA, but the malt is fully supportive and the hops are flavorful. A bit muddled, but a good, tasty IPA.

650 ml bottle bought at Sherbrooke Liquor in Edmonton, AB.
Slightly hazy aith a finger of white head and copper/orange in appearance. Smells and tastes very malty, biscuit, pine, resin, some dankness. Tropical and citrus fruits. Like an English IPA with Cali hops more than a full blown west coast IPA. Good beer with an awesome mouthfeel. Chewy and delicious.
