Came in a standard pint jet black with a creamy-like deep beige head that is gone in pretty quickly.Dark roast coffee abounds in the nose with some underlying bitter chocolate, alot of coffee....A dryer flavor profile with huge coffee flavors, there is a little caramel in the back end giving it an almost caramel macchiato element to it,there is mild chocolate in there as well.A coffee lovers stout here as it is one of the most coffee flavored coffee stouts I have had,I liked it but just a one and done for me.

On tap at Moylan's Brewery in Novato, CA.
Pours an opaque black with a foamy khaki head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of dark roasted malt, chocolate syrup, chocolate covered coffee bean, and brewed coffee aromas. Taste is much the same with chocolate syrup, coffee bean, brewed coffee, and char flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is tasty and easy to drink.
Serving type: on tap.
