Can to becher pint glass.
The appearance was mellow chill hazy burnt yellow/orange color with a small finger's worth of white foamy head softly dissolving to leave some messy lace.
The aroma captured an in-your-face punchy pine smoothing out into some citrusy rind bitter hops and a super low key biscuity maltiness.
The flavor copied the aroma fairly spot on pushing the bitterness forward while trying to bring in the sweet malts. Balanced finely like a West coast styled one and becoming increasingly mellow in its aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was even keeled and had a nice sipping quality to it. Good carbonation yielding to a semi-smooth piney stickiness. Finishes with a normal West coast semi-bitter yet contained enough to allocate a nice smoothness.
Overall, pretty much a very nicely done West coast styled IPA worthy of coming back to.
