Can to snifter.
The appearance was a fairly nice looking dark brown close to black color. Soft eggshell white foamy head slid off delicately to leave small wavy circles sliding here and there. Concave lace here and there.
The aroma had some ashy/sweet char with a dry woody edge to roasty and dark toasty effect. Dark chocolate bitterness vacates softly through some nutty tones.
The flavor leaned towards the ashy/char earthy toastiness at first. Dark toasty and roasty to earthy aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it due to a mild dryness. Finishes fairly dry with some earthy character.
Overall, pretty good imperial stout I'd come back to.
