Copenhagen 9/8 2020. 47,3 cl can from Fish & Beer, Amagerbrogade, Kbh. S. Drawing of Gollum and the good, old ring on the can.
Pours slightly unclear amber with a medium-sized white head. Bubbly. Settles as thin patch of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet caramel-ish odor with a touch of cooked vegetables. Lightly seared caramels, toffee and a bit of brown sugar. Cooked leeks and cabbage.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish and lingers shortly. Caramel finish.
Decent if somewhat generic Amber ale.

Look: It pours dark amber with an off white head. Head retention is good.
Smell: It has strong berry flavor with some caramel. There are some low grassy overtones with plum.
Taste: It is a bit sweet in the flavor featuring caramel, berry, and light spice.
Feel: It has a medium full body that is a bit syrupy. It has some grassiness in the finish as well.
Overall, the after taste is a bit off which is a shame because the flavors are pretty good.
